My versa continues to buzz every minute for the entirety of the reminder period. I can not find any way to customize or turn off this option. For now I've had to turn off calendar notification on my Versa, because I simply could not deal with it buzzing every single minute, but I would like to use this option if there is a way to fix this issue. I'm having the exact same issue and can't find any settings to fix it.

Unpaired and paired with no luck.

No additional settings as far as I can tell. Just received my Versa yesterday. I've got the exact same problem - every minute leading up to a scheduled event, the thing buzzes. Is this acknowledged by Fitbit as an issue, and is it being worked on? If not, I'm going to return it.

Turning off Outlook reminders isn't an option for fixing it. We should be able to swipe them to not show up anymore like you would on your mobile device.

Same problem here with the Versa. Only way to fix it from repeatedly notifying is to dismiss the notification on my phone. Same issue in January ! My outlook calendar notifications vibrate and show on the Versa every minute for 15 mins prior to event.

Fitbit doesn't seem to understand that the Outlook default 15 minute reminder is one reminder and not fifteen minutes of reminders. I'm worried to try an hour reminder for bigger events. Having the same issue here with my Ionic.

Will have to resort to using Google Calendar for my calendar notifications and Outlook for email, so my Ionic won't keep buzzing with calendar events every minute. Outlook calendar reminders count down each minute on my Blaze as well. For example, if I have an appointment with a 15 minute reminder, I'll get one at 15 minutes out, 14, It's super annoying and I'll likely have to turn it off.Have you recently installed Outlook email app and not getting notifications on the android app?

Well, I have a solution for you. So we faced this issue in our on organization email that we recently shifted to Office Emails from GSuite. With over 50 users with the mix of Android and iOS users, every iPhone user could sync the emails properly and also got native and lock-screen notifications. So the majority of Android phone users who have Outlook for a Mobile app installed, could not either get email notifications or even sync the email until they open the app and refresh the app screen.

So we solved it in a crude way, but I would let you go through all the simple stuff that most users suggested on official Microsoft office forum here. And then you can try this forced method to get the things done. Uninstall and re-install the application from the Play store and log in with your Office credentials again. Click on the name of your respective Outlook.

Click on Reset Account. NOTE: This will erase your emails from the mobile device. Nothing to worry, as everything will sync back once you login into the app. Once reset, open Outlook Mail App again, and Login. This should solve your problem, but it did not work with any of the devices we have either. And we were still facing the outlook notification not working issue on Android devices. This one also did not work for me either, as my Android devices were not getting any notifications from focussed emails.

Some phones will have this option available on the first screen some android smartphone UIs might have it inside storage settings. All you have to do here is Clear Cache and Clear Data. It will restore all your emails once you log in. Can you retry from the start? You might have missed something. Notify me of new posts by email. Category Android Views Share this post: a b c d j. Amol Wagh May 26, Working with MS support via the Android Outlook app has been completely useless. When an email arrives, I get multiple audio notifications for the email. The record has been 19 "dings" in a row.

Well folders you chose to not sync can be manually synced by tugging down on the screen and it's one time only so this may be the only way to do what I want. You would think in BB or outlook you could chose to set alerts to desired folders Inbox or otherwise.

If it is not iOS5 then it will have to be upgraded to be able to do this. If it is iOS5 I will keep looking ot see if I can help find a solution. I've never had this issue on android or iOS, have you tried re-installing? Also, are you sure the "Ding"s are coming from Outlook?

Are there any other apps installed that could be causing a conflict or affecting your notifications otherwise? Is the phone rooted or otherwise altered from the default rom? What phone model is it?

What version of android? And of course, the nuke it from space option, have you tried doing device recovery and formatting to factory defaults? Exciting, isn't it? I found that this happens if I don't clear the notifications from Outlook. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution either. You could try another app? We use Nine at my place, it's been pretty good and I haven't heard many complaints. I think it has a free 2 week trial so you could test it and see.

Otherwise I agree with Jrx, you should re-install if you haven't already. I may have to reconsider Nine. The last time I looked at it, which was a couple of years ago, it was lacking in a lot of Exchange functionality. It appears that problem has been cured. Well, "DUH!!!! I also suffer from this problem. When a new email arrives, my Outlook app, on Android, Samsung S8, will play the notification sound one to maybe 10 times, rapid fire.

Microsoft Support. When I have a meeting with a reminder 15 minutes before the meeting, I get a notification - this is OK. I then get a reminder 14 minutes before too - not OK. I then get another reminder 13 minutes before - not OK. This goes on. So unless I take action I get 15 notifications. Like most I have my phone in my pocket.

I typically recognize the notification without taking my phone out of my pocket. At least it should be configurable to have 1 or all 15 notifications. I would think most would like to have one notification per meeting.
